Description
The BTE-228265 pro tree billet aluminum Powerglide transbrake valve body is designed for high performance / drag race applications. CNC Machined from 6061 billet aluminum means is weights less than 8 lbs (50% lighter than cast iron OEM valve body) and features the following:
- Refined internal fluid network that provides fast reaction times, firm shifts, and longer clutch life.
- Pro brake operation (safety neutral design), forward shift pattern
- Ultra-fast transbrake release – hybrid fluid and spring release
- Features an aftermarket revision of the OEM pressure regulating system that is fitted with a 200-psi pressure regulating spring.
- The kit includes an aftermarket manual valve, a rear case plate (for use with stock case glides), one of BTE’s American made transbrake solenoid and a complete set of installation instructions.
