PETRO DN50 Overfill Valve 50 – Right Angle

Straight through full bore Mechanical Overfill Protection Valve with 90° float operation. Developed and manufactured specifically for PETRO Industrial for use with our range of PETRO Cubes and PETRO T Series Small Tanks.

Nozzle Fill Only – The valve is designed to be used with an oil company delivery truck nozzle. The valve is not designed to be retrofitted with a camlock fitting for high flow filling.

90° Float operation, once the liquid level reaches the safe fill level of the tank, the valve will close and prevent filling the tank any further.

Threaded DN50 (2”) Male BSP c/w Lock Nut to fit to the tank socket from within the tank. Spigot End to mechanically attach a drop tube into the tank.

NOTE: Metal on metal seating – any prolonged liquid pressure on the fill side of the valve will result in leakage through the seat over time, with then a risk of overfill of the tank.

• Pressure Drop at 300Lpm 57Kpa.
• Angle of operation 90°.
• Maximum Operating Pressure 87Psi – 600Kpa.
• Average Flow rate 300Lpm @ 560Kpa.

• Dimensions: 400L x 120W x 150H mm

• Cast aluminium structure compatible with Gasoline, Diesel, Kersosene, Ethanol, Methanol, Fuel Oil and Jet Fuel.
• Timken bearing.
• Scr BSP.
• Temperature rating: -40° C to + 80°C.
