Description
The SON-34006-SP is aftermarket case bushing designed and manufactured by Sonnax to address a common issue with GM TH400, 4L80-E and 4L85-E transmissions. The common issue is the OE case bushing in GM TH400, 4L80-E and 4L85-E transmissions tends to walk out of the housing bore, which leaves the output shaft unsupported, ruins the governor gear and can cause case damage. Sonnax designed the SON-34006-SP with a no-walk flange feature to keep the bushing in the case bore.
